Every working or household woman must take a little break off from their busy hectic routine and have time for relaxing. For this purpose, various salons are providing services like deep cleansing of face, hair conditioning, body messages, and other type of body treatments such as body polishes and body wraps.
Relaxing at home without going a salon and without spending money is not a big deal now. Here are some really good tips for you which help to get an economical and comforting spa treatment at home.

Brushing teeth
Though you brush regularly for cleaning and whiter teeth, yet it is recommended to brush at least for 3 minutes with minty or fruity toothpaste as it adds so much to your spa day. Use alcohol-free mouthwash; it will leave you with fresh breath and a clean-feeling mouth.

Filing Nails
Trim and file your nails round or square shaped monitoring the shape of your cuticles. Make sure that your nails are completely dry while you filing them because wet nails can cause splitting. Apply a hand cream and then soak your nails for five minutes in warm water with a few drops of hand wash to soften the cuticles. Push back your cuticles with a wet nail stone.

Rub some hand lotion on your hands. Give yourself a hand massage and stretch your fingers. Then, use a sweet-smelling hand scrub to get rid of any rough skin. After that, apply a base coat or nail paint of your choice and let them dry to prevent scratches in the polish. To add extra shine, apply a top coat.

Steam facial
Pour some boil water into a large bowl, add some essential oils or a few sprigs of mint to the water for a little bit of extra flair. Drape a towel over your head and sit with your head over the steaming water. Stay there for about 5-10 minutes. Listen to music while doing this so it’s not as boring.

Use a face mask
Splash your face with warm water then pat it dry. Take out your face mask and apply according to the instructions on the bottle. You can make your own face mask blender by blending a little cold cream, yogurt, honey, aloe vera gel and avocado. Apply on face with the help of foundation brush, I let the mask dry for about 15 to 20 minutes and rinse.

Deep condition your hair
Coconut oil is the best conditioner and moisturizer or you can apply any oil that suits best to you and place the shower cap over your hair. Then use a blow dryer to heat your hair for about 15 minutes. To avoid damaging your hair, do not use the highest heat setting; use medium or low heat. Once you have entirely warmed the roots, tips, and middle of your hair, remove your cap.

Take 1 cup brown sugar, 1 cup raw oatmeal, and 1 cup olive oil. Mix all the ingredients together and then apply on dry skin, using your hands to scrub it in circular motions all over my body.

Even out skin with a Lemon
Take a freshly cut lemon and rub gently on rough elbows and knees. The acid in the lemon will soften rough spots on skin and also lighten any dark areas.

Take a bath
Fill up your tub with warm water and add some soothing, scented bubble bath to the water. For an extra spa touch, you could get some flowers and let them float on top of the water. You could also light some aromatherapy candles and place them in your bathroom and around the bathtub for extra relaxation. Play music while you’re there. Stay in for around 30 minutes. Then get out and put on a soft bath robe and comfortable slippers.
