Unwanted facial hair can be a concern for women, especially as they get older and estrogen levels change in the body. Even some men report having unwanted facial hair and abnormal hair growth. This unwanted facial hair can be caused by hormonal conditions, adrenal gland disorders and can even be genetic. Fortunately there are some simple home remedies that can be used to treat this unwanted hair and remove it. Lets discuss some of these remedies that you can try today!

A lemon juice and honey mask can be helpful in removing fine hair from the face since the mask will be sticky in nature. The lemon juice will work well as an exfoliating and cleansing agent while at the same time the honey will work to soften the hair as a result of its hydrating and moisturizing properties. Lemon juice is also great because of its natural bleaching qualities, and will help to lighten the hair. This remedy also has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.

First, mix one tablespoon of fresh lemon juice with about 4 tablespoons of honey. Apply this mixture onto your face and leave it on for about 15 to 20 minutes. Once this time has passed, remove the mask with a warm damp washcloth. You can repeat this remedy twice a week for a few months to get the best results.

Another great home remedy to remove unwanted facial hair is a homemade sugar wax that only requires granulated sugar, honey and water. It is both super easy yet also effective. Since you will be heating this mixture, take care to make sure it is not too hot before applying it to your skin.

First, mix two teaspoons of either brown or white granulated sugar and also one teaspoon of both honey and water. Heat this mixture in the microwave or on a stove for roughly 30 seconds until it begins to bubble and turns brown. Again, allow it to cool. Now apply the mixture to the areas of the face you want to remove the hair using a spatula. Place a piece of cloth over the sugar wax mixture and smooth it out with your hands in the direct of the hair growth. Once this is done, rip it off in the opposite direction of the hair growth.

Another great home remedy involves chickpea flour. A chickpea flour face pack will work to exfoliate the skin and remove dead skin and hair. It also works great to lighten the color of the facial hair as well, making it less visible. This remedy also utilizes turmeric, which is great for our skin and promotes its overall health.

Mix together two tablespoon of the chickpea flour, one tablespoon of milk cream, one and a half teaspoons of milk and three-quarter teaspoons of turmeric. The paste should be thick once mixed. Apply the paste to your face and leave it on for about 20 minutes or until it dries. Once this has occurred, scrub it off using a facial loofah pad or a cloth soaked in lukewarm water. You will want to do this remedy at least 3 to 4 times a week for about one month.

Lastly, another home remedy to remove unwanted facial hair is a peel-off mask that utilizes eggs, sugar and corn flour. This great natural peel-off mask will work to remove facial hair and impurities from the skin.

Start by whisking one egg white and then add one tablespoon of sugar and one half tablespoon of corn flour to it. Once mixed together, apply the mixture to your face and let it dry for roughly 15 to 20 minutes. Once this time has passed, you can now peel off the mask and rinse off your face. Repeat this remedy 3 to 4 times a week for best results.
