Most of the chemicals are carcinogenic, and experts link them to the increased number of patients diagnosed with ovarian cancer, bladder cancer, and leukemia.

How to dye your hair naturally?

1. Coffee
Coffee will give you a deeper tone, and treat your hair. Brew strong coffee, and let it cool at room temperature. Combine a cup of coffee, a couple cup of leave in-conditioner, and about 2 tablespoons of coffee grounds. You can also shampoo your hair first, and then rinse it with coffee. Let it work for 20 minutes, and rinse with apple cider vinegar solution.

2. Tea
Tea will also give you a darker tone, but it is milder than coffee. Black tea covers gray hairs. Chamomile and other lighter teas work well for blondes. Redheads should use rooibos tea.
Use 3-5 teabags and 2 cups of water. You can add this to your conditioner or use it separately. Sage works well when it comes to covering gray hair. Leave your tea dye overnight for better intensity. Rinse well with warm water.

3. Herbs
Pick the right herb for your hair.
Redheads should use calendula, marigold, rosehips, and hibiscus to add highlights or deepen their shade. Simmer your herb for half an hour, strain, and let it cool at room temperature. Rinse your hair, and air dry it.
Brunettes should use rosemary, nettle and sage. Simmer the herb for 30 minutes, strain and let it cool. Rinse your hair with the tea, and let it work for an hour.
Blondes should use chamomile, calendula, marigold, saffron, and sunflower petals. Rhubarb root covers gray hair.

4. Beet and carrot juice
Use beets and carrots to give a red tint to your hair color. Add more carrot juice if you’re trying to get a nice reddish-orange shade. Use more beet juice if you’re “dying” to be a gorgeous redhead.
Add a cup of the juice onto your hair. You can combine the juice with coconut oil. Wrap your hair, and let the juice do is job for an hour. Rinse well, and spray your hair with apple cider vinegar.

5. Henna
Henna leaves contain a natural pigment that does wonders for brunettes and redheads. Combine it with chamomile to get the desired consistency.
Combine a cup of henna powder and two cups of lemon juice. Apply this on your hair and let it work for 4-6 hours. Wrap your hair with plastic wrap, and rinse it after 3 hours.

6. Lemon juice
Lemon juice is an excellent whitening agent. Use it to get a nice highlights. Spray fresh lemon juice in your hair, and brush. Leave it on for a few hours, and do a couple of treatment to get the results you dream of.

7. Walnuts shells
Walnuts shells are amazing for darker hair tones. Crush and boil your walnut shells for half an hour. Let the liquid cool at room temperature, strain, and apply it on your hair. Let it work for an hour.
